At Canada Games Rugby Park , Saturday, July 26 Barbs 30 Wombats 12 A beautiful afternoon for rugby: Sunny, 27C, light winds. Paul Grosskopf scored two tries for the Barbs. Single tries were scored by Andrew Halliday, Tom Robson and Brian Yon. The talented toe of Eric Arpin made one convert and one penalty kick. The Barbs with five wins and two losses, now lead the Division One standings with 27 points. The Barbs have next weekend off and will meet the Assassins August 9 at Maple Grove. |
