A note from the webmaster...
I became associated with the Brandon Barbarians in 1993. It all started with a road trip to Erickson in early June of that year when the Barbs met the Dauphin Mavericks. Since then, I have accumulated a “lot” of photos and videos. I have decided go through everything, start cataloguing, keep the good stuff and chuck the rest. I am the proverbial pack rat, so let me assure you that nothing will end up in the dumpster, not even Skippy’s dance on the roof of the change room at Maple Grove in 2000 after yet another defeat in a Div 2 final.
This section of the Barbs’ website will be devoted to recalling some of the Club’s memorable moments. I want to say “thank you” to John and Iris, Doug and Donna, Guy McKim, Barry Andrew, Grant McMullan, Earl McNutt, Brian Yon and others for giving me access to their material.
