It was a cloudy, miserable, windy, almost ugly Saturday afternoon in Winnipeg. Playing a game under these conditions is a bit ludicrous, if not incomprehensible, when one realizes that this is the end of the first week of June. The other sad part is that the Wanderers had to play in these lousy conditions as well. It was rather obvious that they seemed used to it and enjoyed themselves.
Scoring for the Barbs were Rosie Common with a try and a conversion and Jodie Hicks with a try. |
